I have a serious problem with people who bring one sided information to a debate It’s pointless and then are unable to use any supporting info but trivia.
On to other news, I updated, the prologue and chapters 4 and 5 for vigilance so be sure to check em out if you can. In the latter 2 I introduce the villain of the series a character who I’m quite happy with I must say. I’m also going to the Afro Punk Festival on Saturday with my Queen and some friends I hope It’s good. Anyway looking forward to it. Peace out ya’ll.
Good day all, This is a new idea i had and i wanted to share it with my blog community. Initially it was a call out to black writers to create black heroes in an anthology called “The Tribunal”. (Originally posted on Face Book.)
So I have this idea for this black hero anthology called the Tribunal. I need people to write characters they themselves enjoy and identify. I don’t have a full story yet but I do have a situation.
There is something called the Willie Lynch Letter here is a copy of it.
In the future thanks to the perpetuation of this syndrome black people are extinct (There are still mixed people alive though) the last black person alive a woman named Judy, sends a message to the past to a number of black people with extraordinary gifts and asks them to travel farther into the past to stop the syndrome from other ever being induced. After she sends the message she is killed by members of the future NSA who realize that the syndrome helped facilitate the construction of the US and without it, the country would not be a power house they are. They send agents back in time to kill these people, meanwhile the super powered black people must find a way to travel back in time and undo the Syndrome. However the repercussions maybe unlike anything anyone has ever known.
Working on chapter five of Vigilance it’s titled the Keeper tentatively. But I’m glad It’s coming along, I won’t spoil it, but please keep your eyes open.
I’m sick and tired of writers block or rather writers apprehension. I’m finally working on Vigilance again and I’m stuck writing a character who I have little handle on and who i won’t really get until after his brother dies. At that point he get’s more interesting and angry, I also get to add more characters into his life and give him a fuller story. Well here’s to good writing.
I started writing the sequel to the Vigilance, Sacred Drifters and Adept Chamber, stories (AKA The Occult legacy series) before I finished any of the books. I’m mad that Scrawl still wins over my readers when it was nothing more than therapy and an exercise in self-indulgence. (The story was never supposed to make sense or be finished) So how come when I sit down to write something for the new Geist work i’ve got, i lose my drive to do so or feel like I’m straining myself to do so. What’s worse I have the feeling that i wanna work on Scrawl but I just know as soon as i sit down and try to I’m gonna lose it. My mind is playing tricks on me, I’m so mad that I’m pursuing to different stories at the same time. I should just write a short story about a fight the main characters of both stories have and see who wins.
Taking Wing Chun classes right now, stumbling through them. Everything seems to be a crash course by I have to stick with it, keep practicing it, keep it up. I’m giving critique’s on my friend’s work, wish i had the drive to work on my own stuff, waiting to get my netbook replaced. Anyway, for those you, that read this I’m still trying to write but getting there slowly.
OK so this is late but on May 27th I graduated college, I’m free from one prison and now I’m on to another called ‘the real world’, which as it turns out is not all that real, it’s just less uniform and involves a pay check. Sigh I can’t wait till the world ends, that’s the next countdown.
